A large part of being a maker is marketing yourself. Not every product we make takes off but if people know about you they'll be more likely to think of you. I saw a Tweet the other day where the author thought about making a personal FAQ page for frequently asked questions.
Let me ask you, as a no code maker:
Have you slowed down or upped your maker pace?
Are you seeing a rise in no code projects?

On June 30th, global commerce platform Elliot, announced they were closing their doors. Elliot had low and no code storefronts so business owners could create custom online stores without learning Python. Elliot had an early access list waiting list of over 7,000 people yet the platform never luanched. The product never got to the point it was marketed as being. It's a lesson in marketing first vs. product first.

OpenAI released a new AI, GPT-3 (Generative Pretrained Transformer). GPT-3 is a natural language processing neural network. Sharif Shameem (@sharifshameem) built a layout generator where users can type, with natural language, what the website layout should be. Sharif said he only had to write two samples for GPT-3 for context for it to process the other samples correctly.
The Tweet generated hundreds of replies debating what this means for those working in technology. Jon Magoon said, "this is so dystopian because it implies the elimination of entire swaths of professional workers." Others say the output is suboptimal (for now) and that AI has a long way to go before it takes jobs from developers and UI designers.
This is mind blowing.
With GPT-3, I built a layout generator where you just describe any layout you want, and it generates the JSX code for you.
