1. Tutorial of the Day
For many, Dreamweaver was their first no code tool (even though no code didn't exist as a term yet). Check out this tutorial no how to use Dreamweaver 13. Don't forget to use Control + X to cut text to paste later. Plus, Flash elements! 😉
Enjoy the videos and music you love, upload original content, and share it all with friends, family, and the world on YouTube.
Ok, I'm kidding. If you're looking for something more modern (and free to start) look to Webflow, a no code web development tool. Create animations, paralax scrolling, and other modern website elements without code. Here's a tutorial how.
I go in-depth to show you how to create a #parallax scrolling effect in Webflow. First, we'll move one element over a background and then a more complex animation.
2. Tool of the Day
We're going retro with today's tool of the day. On Twitter we asked, what is the first no code tool you ever used? Dreamweaver was one of those tools. Dreamweaver was originally developed by a team at Macromedia in 1996. It stood out among the rest as a visual code editor.
Dreamweaver supported:
drag and drop tools
tables and frames
easy selections of fonts and colors
inline image uploads
Today, Dreamweaver is part of the Adobe software suite.
Quickly create and publish web pages almost anywhere with Adobe Dreamweaver responsive web design software that supports HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and more.
3. Member of the Day
Pete was introduced to no code with Webflow. Webflow opened his eyes to the possibilities of no code. It's inspired Pete to learn everything he can about no code integrations and automation. Pete enjoys building websites and web apps in his free time. Say "hi" to Pete on NoCodeDevs!
